Practical Information

Chiropractic care is a health profession focused on diagnosing, treating, and preventing mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, particularly the spine, but also the extremities (arms, legs, wrists, ankles). It uses manual treatments including adjustments and manipulation to restore motion and relieve pain.

We help with back pain, neck pain, headaches and migraines, sciatica, shoulder pain, sports injuries, repetitive strain injuries, arthritic pain, disc injuries, carpal tunnel, TMJ, and scoliosis, among others.

Dr. Janay Scott will conduct a thorough medical history review, perform a physical and neurological examination, possibly recommend imaging tests such as X-rays, and develop a personalized treatment plan based on the findings.

Spinal and extremity manipulation and adjustments, soft-tissue therapy (myofascial release, cupping, scraping/IASTM), electrical stimulation, KT taping, rehab and corrective exercises, and lifestyle and ergonomic advice.

Session frequency depends on the severity of your condition and how your body responds. After your assessment, Dr. Janay Scott will build a customized plan and adjust it as you progress.

No referral is typically necessary, though some insurance plans may require one for coverage.

We are out of network with most insurance companies, but we gladly accept Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). If you have questions about coverage or payment options, please give us a call.

Please bring a photo ID and any relevant medical records, such as doctor's notes and X-ray discs or reports. This helps us make informed decisions about your care and start your treatment plan promptly.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement. Avoid heavy jewelry or belts.

Some patients may experience mild side effects such as soreness, fatigue, or headaches after treatment, but these typically resolve within 24 hours.
